Choose the mix of Private Lessons and Group Classes that best suits your timeline and budget
There are four components to a successful First Dance:
- Fundamental skills
- Basic moves and elements
- Highlights
- Staging and Choreography
You can decide to go through essential Fundamentals, Basics and Highlights in the Crash Course, or you can cover a wider range in Private Classes.
Staging will be discussed with you in an over the phone interview and during your first private class.
Choreography - as in decisions on which element fits which part of your tune, is done in Private Classes.
Private Wedding Dance Lessons Toronto
Our Private Wedding Lessons are 60 min long - we do not do 45 min as it makes you lose time on traveling and money on unnecessary warmups and on fracturing the learning process which makes it less effective.
If you decide to go Private Lessons route all the way through, first 2-3 classes will be covering the Basic Skills and Highlights, and the following classes would be focused on your music, and on connecting your newly acquired skills to particular moments in your tune.
You do not need to wait till "closer" to your wedding date to learn how to move together. The more time you have to practice the better the end result.
It is an individual choice how many Private Lessons to take. For simple natural Choreography it takes between 5-7 sessions.
Tune edition/shortening is included in our Wedding Private Classes packages free of charge!
How Much Do Wedding Dance Lessons Cost in Toronto?
Single lesson — $155 + HST per couple
3-lesson package — $414 + HST per couple — save $57
5-lesson package — $650 + HST per couple — save $141
2-hour Wedding Crash Course (seasonal) — $150 + HST per couple
All wedding lesson prices are per couple, not per person. Most couples build a full first dance in five to seven lessons, which is why the 5-lesson package is our most popular. A 10-lesson package is also available — see our pricing page.
2-Hour Wedding Dance Crash Course
The most popular way to get started - our Crash Course covers material of your first 2-3 private classes - Fundamentals, Basics moves and elements and most popular Highlights - so you have the foundation needed to move straight to connecting things to your music.
The Crash Course is $150 + HST per couple and runs seasonally, from March through August, once a month on selected Saturdays during the day.

General Dancing Starter - 5 weeks
A 5 week General Starter Course introduces all the dancing basics with all typical free style moves, plus Swing and Latin styling. It is covering material of first 2 private classes and can be particularly useful for those looking for Swing/Retro theme to be their "go-to" style for their first dance.
The classes are 60min long and take place on 5 consecutive Wednesdays at 6:00 pm.

We will rework your chosen tune to adjust tempo and length
Should your tune be a tad too long, or just a little too slow or too fast, we can adjust it digitally with your dancing comfort in mind. We can also mix several tunes together and add sound effects to bring another dimension to your First Dance.

Our skilled dance instructors can create a dance routine and Wedding Dance choreography that seamlessly integrates with your wedding theme, making your first dance an elegant and cohesive part of your celebration.
We can help with a Father-Daughter and Mother-Son, or any other dances
We can help prepare any dances you might choose to include in your Wedding Day celebration. Dancing with Parents, Bride and Bride's Maids, Groom and Groom's Men, a surprised choreography with your entire Bridal Party, or anything else you might conceive of - the sky is the limit and we are here to make your dreams come true.
